Submitting Hours for Approval

How to submit your weekly hours for admin review and what happens next.

When to Submit

At the end of each week, review your time entries and submit them for approval. The "Submit for Approval" button appears in the calendar view when you have entries for the current or past week.

Review Before Submitting

Before submitting, check that all entries have detailed descriptions and the correct time ranges. Once submitted, entries are locked and cannot be edited unless an admin returns them for revision.

The Submission Dialog

Clicking "Submit for Approval" opens a confirmation dialog showing your total hours for the week and an overview of what happens next: your week becomes locked, it is sent for admin review, and you will be notified of the outcome.

After Submission

Your calendar shows a "Pending admin review" badge for the submitted week. An admin will review your hours and either approve them or return them for revision with feedback.

Returned for Revision

If hours are returned, you will see a "Returned for revision" badge with the admin's feedback. The week unlocks so you can make corrections and resubmit.
