Deleting Your Account

How to permanently delete your account and what happens to your data.

Before Deleting

Export any data you want to keep before initiating deletion. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

How to Delete

Go to Settings and scroll to the "Danger Zone" section at the bottom. Click "Delete Account". You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. This action is permanent.

What Happens

  • Your personal data is removed within 30 days.
  • Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days.
  • If you are the last member of a team, the entire team and all its data will be deleted.
  • If other team members remain, your time entries are preserved (anonymized) for audit purposes.

Canceling Instead

If you just want to stop paying, consider canceling your subscription instead. You retain access until the end of the billing period, and your data remains available.
