Approving Team Member Hours
How administrators review, approve, or return submitted hours.
Accessing Pending Approvals
Navigate to the Approvals page from the sidebar. The page shows a count of pending submissions and a visual overview grid of all team members' weekly statuses.
Reviewing a Submission
Click "Review" on a pending submission to see the team member's time entries for that week. Each entry shows the date, project, time range, duration, and description.
Approving Hours
If the entries are complete and accurate, click "Approve Hours". You can optionally add notes for the team member. Approved hours become locked and count as confirmed data for reports and budgets.
Returning for Revision
If entries need corrections, click "Return for Revision". You must provide a reason explaining what needs to be changed. The team member will be notified and can make corrections before resubmitting.
The Approval Grid
The visual grid shows all team members across weeks, with color-coded cells indicating: approved (green), pending review (yellow), returned (red), and not submitted (gray). This gives you an at-a-glance view of your team's submission status.
